Balsam Lake Beauty
Our client’s cabin on Balsam Lake needed an overhaul to provide it with improved outdoor entertaining spaces, safe and better access to the buildings and lake, and much-needed water management to keep the cabin dry from the water flowing down the slope of their lot.
In addition, keeping the fantastic lake views was paramount to our clients. We created terraced outdoor living spaces that were near each other and close to the main interior spaces, framed by boulder hardscape walls. We incorporated natural stone steps from the upper living areas to the boathouse for easier access. Lastly, we created careful drainage to help divert water away from the cabin.
The natural landscaping we chose ties into the beautiful northern feel of the lake area.
