Beach House Beauty

This somewhat-neglected property found new life when local owners purchased it for a lake getaway. They loved the existing lakeside patio which we enhanced, and it served as a jumping-off point for the rest of the property. We also replaced the garage which had water issues, created a covered porch over the main entrance, added a lakeside hot tub and outdoor shower, and enhanced the backyard with a new patio deck to accompany the water feature. It is now an idyllic retreat for its owners.

An addition to our Lake Minnetonka “Beachhouse Beauty” project, our clients wanted to create a professional style pizza oven and outdoor kitchen area to tie in to their lakeside patio. A wood-fired oven creates an authentic pizza experience while counter seating for four allows company to watch as dinner is made.

There’s also plentiful counter space in this U-shaped kitchen to ensure prep space, and ease of movement for entertaining. The stone used in the kitchen was carefully selected to match the lakeside seating walls and other garden walls on the property and elevated the deck to keep it level with the home living space. We give this lakeside kitchen an official chef’s kiss!
